Seeing spots [at last]
You'll be tired of seeing this picture I'm sure, but today's the day that I'm planning to cut out the spotty fabric to make myself a dress. Still trying to work out if I'm brave enough to try drafting a pattern for a sleeve to go with it, but I figure I'll start out with cutting out the pieces as per the instructions and then go from there.
What are you up to in your creative space today?

Looks like a great pattern, hope the sleeves work out for you :)
ReplyDeleteYour dress will look gorgeous in this fabric! What is the pattern number, I may have to get this one, it is lovely.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous fabric, will look great in a dress.
ReplyDeleteOh that fabric is so beautiful! Red and grey and SPOTS! Can't wait to see the dress as the end product.
ReplyDeleteCute pattern. Love the fabric too.
ReplyDeleteThe pattern's McCalls M6123 if anyone wants to have a go at it - it goes together pretty quickly from my trial with View A (except for the pleated trim which was a pain!)
ReplyDeleteDress looks great. Can't wait to see the finished product.
ReplyDeleteThat dress is going to look fabulous. May those Making Gods be with you!
ReplyDeleteHi there,
ReplyDeleteI have this pattern, and just finished cutting out all the pieces to find that pages 3/4 are not in the pattern envelope. Would you be able to take a photo of those pages, or scan it and email to me? The McCalls website says its email service is down for awhile. Best, Shannon
Hi Shannon,
DeleteI've been neglecting the blog a bit and missed your comment. Have you come across the instruction pages yet?
