Cute-as-a-button booties from this book using fabric from my stash. I'm planning another pair, and when I do I'll take photos of how I applied the soles (Anna Maria's instructions involved too many potential burnt fingers for my liking!).
The Newbie loves them - I tried them on her and her face said 'wow look mum - there are butterflies on my feet!' all in one wondrous grin. Didn't stop her from kicking them off within 30 seconds though. Perhaps I should have sewed name tags on the bottom!
